Protein complex isolation and analysis: Simply provide us with the antibody for your protein and we will do the rest. ProTech scientists will use the antibody to immunoaffinity purify your protein complex from HeLa cytoplasmic and nuclear extracts. ProTech also offers the option to immunoaffinity purify your protein complex from extracts made from a cell line of your choice or from mouse tissues (including mouse brain and liver). The affinity purified protein complex will be analyzed by SDS-PAGE followed by identification of all the proteins in the complex using mass spectrometry. Upon the completion of the project, we will provide you with a comprehensive report that includes a high quality SDS-PAGE gel image of the purified complex and a detailed list of all the proteins identified. ProTech also offers services to isolate protein complexes of stably expressed tagged-protein from your cell line.

Identification of in vivo post-translational modification sites: Provide us with your antibody and we will affinity purify your protein from extracts made from the cell line of your choice, under growth conditions of your choice (for example in the presence and absence of a drug treatment). We will analyze and search your protein for any of the more than 200 known forms of post-translational modifications, including - but not limited to - phosphorylation, acetylation, ubiquitination, sumylation, and lysine/arginine methylation.
